Corrections Policy

When a factual error is reported — by a reader, an operator, or our own editors — we follow the same process regardless of who is involved:

1. Log and acknowledge: every report is logged with a timestamp and the source. Substantive reports receive an email acknowledgement within 2 business days.
2. Investigate: an editor who was not the original author checks the claim against primary sources (operator T&Cs, state regulator notices, our own test accounts, or published data).
3. Decide: the editor classifies the change as a routine update or a substantive correction (see below).
4. Update: the affected page is edited, the “last updated” timestamp is refreshed, and — for substantive corrections — a dated correction note is added to the page.
5. Close the loop: the reporter is notified when the correction is live.

If you believe something on Best Sweeps is factually inaccurate, please let us know. Include the URL, the specific statement you are flagging, and — if possible — a source we can verify against.

We do not remove published reviews in response to operator pressure. If a correction is warranted, we correct the record rather than unpublish the page.
